Yesterday was our last day of summer school, it was a nice three weeks seeing the students learn more, get work turned in, and have fun with different activities. Tuesday June 27th we took our students on a field trip to St.Paul to visit the Science Museum and Como Zoo. It was the perfect way to spend our last week with them. Enjoy the rest of your summer and see you all back in September.

These young ladies enjoyed using their creativity to decorate their cakes to take home and share with their families. We practiced understanding fractions by measuring our ingredients. We also practiced some of the Ojibwe words and phrases for steps of the process of making the cake batter and the frosting. They did an amazing job!
