Boozhoo! Happy Friday! We are excited to share that we have a couple new people in our transportation department, including one who will be able to start driving next week! This will impact routes as soon as this afternoon, but in a good way because ride times will get shorter as we get the new driver started. Drivers will share new pick up/drop off times with students this afternoon when they bring them home, and the families who will be on our new route with a new driver will get communication from our Transportation Director with specifics on their route. Miigwech to our Drivers, to Tashina, and our mechanic for getting the Silver Eagles safely to and from school!
We will be having our Fall Feast and Giveaway on September 26th from noon to 1:30PM. Join us for Walleye, Wild Rice and Fry Bread with a Prayer and a Honor Song. If you have any questions, please contact Bruce White at 218-665-3070 Miigwetch

Just a friendly reminder for our Bug O Nay Ge Shig Families.....this year we have one Early Release Friday per month, and it's always on the first Friday of the month. This means tomorrow, September 5th, is the first and only Early Release Friday for this month. The next one will be October 3rd. On Early Release Fridays we do Closing at 1:30 and then buses depart the school at 1:45.
Boozhoo Bug O Nay Ge Shig families! Good morning. The good news is that despite a few drivers becoming unavailable today, our Transportation team was able to figure out routes so we can still have school! The bad news is that students on the following routes will have a late arriving bus: Bemidji, Deer River, S Lake, Inger, Ball Club, and Sugar Point. Give the school a call if you have questions. Miigwech to our Transportation team for making it work, and to our families for your understanding. Have a good Thursday!
Join Bug O Nay Ge Shig as a paraprofessional! You get to work with awesome kids and awesome colleagues, and leave work each day knowing you made a legit difference for young people! We are hoping to hire two additional paraprofessionals, with some flexibility available in work schedules. Visit bugonaygeshig.com to find an application!
The July School Board meeting will take place on Wednesday, July 9th at 4:30pm in the elementary library. Miigwech to our School Board members for their dedication to our school, as they have done two full days of work sessions this week and will continue to work as they gather for their regular meeting this month.
Summer School at Bug O Nay Ge Shig includes educational enrichment activities, art projects,
field trips and cultural games, such as lacrosse with Dan Ninham (photo).

Boozhoo Bugonaygeshig families. We have many staff and students who are still cleaning up after the recent storm. There will be no summer school Monday June 23rd. We will see you on Tuesday. Miigwech and stay safe.
